Welcome to 7eventy x 7even Caps & Designs, a husband-and-wife team based in
Graceville, FL, founded by James and Regina Merritt. What started as a
hobby in early 2023 quickly grew into a thriving business thanks to a
single hat.

James initially purchased a hobby diode laser to experiment with. After
familiarizing himself with the laser and software, his son-in-law asked him
to create a custom leather patch for a hat. That one hat sparked unexpected
demand, leading to a surge of orders. To keep up, we invested in a larger,
used CO2 laser, and by October 2023, 7eventy x 7even Caps & Designs was
officially born.

Since then, we've had the pleasure of crafting thousands of custom hats for
individuals and businesses alike. Our commitment to quality and efficiency
led us to upgrade to a new RF laser at the end of 2024, allowing us to
continue delivering the high-quality products our customers have come to
expect.
